On Friday, before the March Break, we wrapped up our month long unit on Le Carnaval. The culminating task was to make a booklet on our imaginary trip to the carnival. Throughout the unit my students learnt various vocabulary - clothing, colours, winter activities, food, how to say the time in French and how to conjugate regular and some irregular -er verbs. It was a tall order, but most of my students demonstrated that they were up to the challenge!
I will be posting a few examples. There are errors, of course, but I am honestly really impressed with the work overall. It is their FIRST piece of writing for me and they're only in Grade 5! This is their second year of learning French - CORE FRENCH!!!!!!!!!
Bravo tout le monde!
