Compare and contrast our lives with Ruby Bridges

Comparison and contrast of my students' lives with that of Ruby Bridges. This was such a powerful learning experience for my students. Most had never heard of the word 'segregation' before and some had no idea how bad it was. Glad we could engage in a discussion on this very important part of history. We need to remember the past to guide our future steps, right?
