Follow up Math Problem

Went off a bit in my last post, so back to the follow up Math Problem!

Lesson # 1 - the next day's activity MUST be related and support progressive development!

Lesson from doing these rich, problem solving questions - it is important to move from isolated "hands on"activities and trivialized "school-type" word problems to more activity-driven problems. Math should be viewed as a highly creative activity where students explore relations,investigate interesting patterns and craft proofs.
