Political Debates

Yesterday's political debates were amazing! It was a chance for students to do independent research on the policies/platform of each of the four major political parties and display communication skills in order to persuade or sway opinions.

 Great enthusiasm kiddies! Whether your team won or not, the important point is that you ALL have a voice as active Canadian citizens. Being informed and engaged about social and environmental issues is important no matter your age. Keep up the terrific work!

Political Debate (Social Studies)

Students have been working hard researching the different platforms of the four major political parties. Final debate should be quite interesting. Students are learning a lot along the way and are beginning to ask questions. Good sign :-)
