Feeling the love!
Black History Month Assembly
Thanks to Babarinde Williams from Drums et al for an amazing assembly today. It was engaging, informative and extremely interactive. I loved the message of UBUNTU. Celebrating our "human-ness" is a great way to approach life.

Trip to Queens Park
Our class trip to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario (Queens Park) was quite memorable! The students and I enjoyed our tour immensely and we actually got a chance to sit in on a live session. To top if off we met the Premier - Kathleen Wynne!!!!!!
New Science Unit
Next week we'll start a new Science Unit - Properties of and Changes in Matter.
This unit introduces students to the properties of matter, changes of state, and physical and chemical change. It provides them with opportunities to conduct investigations that explore the properties of matter and changes in matter. The unit also challenges students to evaluate the social and environmental impacts of processes used to make everyday products. Should be interesting!
