Math Class (Fraction Models)
A few weeks ago we started our unit on Fractions mainly focusing on Area Models. This week we hope to look at Set Models and Linear Models. Modelling fractions using concrete materials and drawings allow students to develop a sense of fractional quantity. Here are definitions and examples:
