Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the use of technology in the classroom. In fact, I've been spending the first few days of summer trying to wrap my poor brain around all the wonderful tech tools I can incorporate in my lessons for next term. But, I stand by my belief that technology is only a TOOL that should be used to facilitate learning. It should never be a substitute for instruction or human interaction. I am not a fan of over zealously using technology for 'technology sake'. It should serve a purpose and not be used as a distraction to get a 'break from the students'. #justmythoughts
